Connection & Healing with The Elements That Give Us Life from a Mayan Perspective
with Nana Amalia Tum & Tata Mario Ovalle - Maya Kaqckikel
All human beings are medicine, the elements of life nurture our existence.
In this workshop, you will learn how to attain spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical balance through the energies of the elements.
You will learn practices to incorporate the energies of the elements in your home, sacred space, and workplace.
The Mayans will teach about sacred tools that represent the elements of life.
When we connect with and make offerings to the elements we strengthen and protect ourselves, they feed us good things for our lives and help us live in harmony with ourselves and with our environment.
Everything that exists has life and a purpose here just like human beings do. All life is connected as one with the cosmos, therefore everything deserves respect.
When we invoke the elements into our lives, we get transformed for they are intermediaries for communication with the Great Creator Of Life.
We are children of Mother Earth and Grandfather Sun, living with the rain, with the wind, with the mountains, feeling the heat of the fire within us which opens our hearts and heals us, opening us up to unconditional love.
Feel the air of dawn, talk with the animals and the master plants in silence, feel the divine spark of our Ancestors blowing with the wind. Learn how to overcome difficult moments in life with the help of the energies of each element that gives us life.
The life of the Mayans revolves around the invocation of Ajaw. We make offerings and we give thanks for life, for health and sickness. We have gratitude for the elements in every moment of our existence, the elements live within us, we are Earth, we are Fire, we are Water, we are Air, we are the generating elements of life. The fire purifies us, the air is our breath, the water flows in our veins, our body is the representation of Mother Earth.

Read MoreThis was a beautiful connection to the elements and learning more about the energies the Maya elders use. I have attended online with Nana Amalia before and didn't know the Maya meaning of the elements and colors related to the elements, this course is quite valuable. I didn't watch the first day live and felt connected to it, especially the closing prayer. I attended the second day live, the ceremony was beautiful and felt inspired after. Hearing about Nana Amalia's vision and work to bring a well to her ancestral village was quite powerful, sending her and her community love and blessings for it to be completed quickly though generous donations
